Grat is an open-source project designed to be accessible to every developer. Our pricing model ensures that you can start for free and scale your application without hitting massive infrastructure costs.
Managed cloud hosting is currently under development. Self-hosting via Docker is available today for free.
Grat uses a transparent credit system for mainnet transactions. Developers deposit XLM into their project balance, and Grat deducts the exact network fee (in stroops) for every transaction that is successfully sponsored. There are no hidden markups on network fees.
Because Grat is licensed under Apache 2.0, you can always choose to host the relay yourself on your own infrastructure. Self-hosting is free of charge and gives you full control over your channel accounts and security. Managed cloud plans are an optional convenience for teams that prefer not to manage their own servers.
Grat’s initial development is funded through the Stellar Community Fund. Revenue generated from the managed cloud plans (starting at the Starter tier) is reinvested back into the project to ensure long-term maintenance and the development of new SDKs and features.View on GitHub
